Lee has over 25 years business experience in the automotive and construction sectors, working alongside companies in turnaround, restructuring and private equity, with particular emphasis around the engineering & manufacturing sectors, both here and internationally. Lee has a breadth of knowledge inside the tax relief market place and legislation, using his understanding of the claim processes to help clients maximise their returns.

Mitchell is an R&D specialist with years of experience, whose thorough and analytical approach to studying the ever-changing R&D legislation and CIRD manual is key to ABA’s continual drive towards providing the best service we can to our clients.

Mitchell also has over a decade of experience in designing and implementing effective training programs across various industries. With a commitment to ensuring both the personal and professional development of his team members, Mitchell consistently demonstrates an ability to create learning environments.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Mitchell is a music lover and a musician, often attending festivals and gigs. His passion for music is matched by his (arguably misguided) support for Nottingham Forest, visiting the world-famous City Ground as much as he can.

Having gained a First-Class Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance from Derby University, Jana went on to gain experience in finance, management, and leadership before joining the Acute team in July 2022. She has a great eye for detail and understanding around tax relief, information analysis and diligent reporting. Being bilingual makes it easier for Jana to blend in with people coming from different backgrounds and works well within diverse workforce.
